Night before!

So I'm all packed. Meeting well-wishes and fellow day 1 walkers at around 09.45 at the Milngavie start gate. Great to hear maybe 10 others joining Scott and I for Day 1's walk from Milngavie to Drymen. Just over 12 miles. Watch here tomorrow evening for first day photos and update.

Sundays getting closer!

Getting really excited now! Fundraising going really well! Nearly at £3K so thanks to everyone who has sponsored us. If everyone shows up in Milngavie on Sunday (10am) we might be a party of 14 walking day 1. Hope you guys know what's ahead of you!

What it's about

Hi I am Andy Lowndes. Together with  Scott Young (Jen's nephew) we are walking the West Highland Way (01/09/13-07/09/13) in memory of my beautiful wife Jennifer Lowndes (12.01.70-18.12.12).

We are doing this in aid of Cancer Research UK.

We hope we will be joined along the way other members of Jen's family and some of her friends.

When possible I hope to blog and post photographs of the scenery along the route.

Right now we are in training but soon we will be doing it fro real so watch this space!
